We're thrilled to share that all Evari 856 models are now available with Classified's Powershift Technology. This innovative system offers a streamlined yet highly effective gearing solution, providing greater flexibility in gear selection. Initially designed to enhance aerodynamics in road bikes by eliminating the front derailleur, Classified's wireless Powershift technology has since been adopted across diverse cycling disciplines. Its unique feature of housing two gears in the rear hub allows for seamless shifting and has wide-ranging applications.
In the context of e-bikes, the Classified system facilitates the integration of a belt drive. This utilises what is known as a "launch and cruise" gear configuration. Essentially, this aligns the bike's top speed with its intended cruising speed, while incorporating a reduction gear to ensure smooth and effortless launches. The Classified system employs a cutting-edge Bluetooth control setup, doing away with conventional cables for a more streamlined experience. This modernisation serves two key benefits: it simplifies cable management and reduces the system's overall weight, thereby optimising both efficiency and ease of use. Evari has collaborated with Classified to ensure seamless integration with e-bikes, particularly those equipped high-torque motors. Thanks to the outstanding engineering already in place within the Classified system, the approval process was quick and definitive.
Classified's Powershift technology is engineered to meet the most strenuous demands. Capable of shifting under a full load of up to 1000 watts and performing in all weather conditions within a mere 150 milliseconds, the system is truly versatile. You can now acquire this state-of-the-art system with an Evari 856 or 856CS bike.
